DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Zenith in 1955 in excellent plus condition. All knobs are original and securely attached. Original factory molded green. Not repainted or touched up. Original factory glossiness and sheen. Very glossy. There is a tight hairline crack on top by the back edge. There is a scratch on the right side. No other cracks, chips, or major scratches. This radio is over 60 years old! Dial light tuning indicator lights brightly. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The built in handle is functional and intact. No cracks. The tuning dial works fine as designed. This radio features a floating tuning condenser so it feels loose but it isn't. They all come that way. The power cable is securely attached. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets. This thing belongs in a museum!
