Toffee and Ivory Mid-Century 1963 Motorola Model C4S131 Vacuum Tube AM Clock Radio Rare Color Combo!

DESCRIPTION:  This is one of the few designs available from any manufacturer pre-1980 which features a clock light. Incredibly, it still works. Unique offset grill design in toffee brown color and ivory. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Cabinet is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or major scratches.  Original factory color combination. The front toffee tan color is all factory original paint. Not repainted. No repairs. No touch up. None needed. The rest of the radio was factory molded in original white ivory. This radio is over 50 years old!  No missing labels. The knobs are in excellent condition. Center tuning knob is not pitted with rust or oxidation. No missing clock knobs. Amazing. The clear dial face has no cracks. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. This radio featured an always-on gas clock dial light that is working. These neon gas replacement bulbs are not made anymore. Glows amber orange. Gas bulb never needs replacing. Dimmer switch in back works sets brightness. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The clock works and keep accurate time. The clock is quiet no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. The SNOOZE button works. There is a appliance timer function in back. The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The matching brown backing board is original excellent condition. No missing factory labels on bottom. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
