BLUETOOTH MP3: This particular radio has been modified to play Bluetooth MP3. Plays MP3 with cable or wirelessly from any MP3 playing device over 30 ft. Includes 3.5mm to mono RCA cable. Just plug in your MP3 player or connect wirelessly via Bluetooth. Works with any iPod, iPAD, iPhone, or Android. Switch from MP3 to AM radio with rocker switch installed on back panel. Sounds great! Bluetooth receiver is attached with Velcro tape and can be easily relocated to front, back or either side.

DESCRIPTION: Understated and elegant in its simplicity. Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Motorola in 1953-1954 timeframe in excellent working and physical condition. Cabinet is original factory white painted Bakelite. Has been repainted white and polished to a mirror shine. Many layers of white enamel have been applied and wet sanded to smooth new-car-paint-like shine. No cracks, chips or major scratches.  This radio is over 60 years old! Gold metal grill is in excellent condition with no dents or dings and no rust. The clock inner oval area face with clock, alarm and other functions is faded unevenly. The outer clock face with numerals is in excellent condition. The tuning dial works fine no slipping no sticky spots.  The clock works and keep accurate time. The clock motor is quiet on this one. No humming. No buzzing. No ticking noises. The alarm works wake to music or wake to music and buzzer options both work and go off at the correct set time. The clock and alarm set function work.  Sleep timer works. No clock or dial light. Not designed with one but can be added for an extra charge. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. No exposed wiring. The original power cord and plug is in excellent working condition. Original backing board is in excellent condition securely attached with clear read-able printing. No missing factory labels. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
