DESCRIPTION: Tabletop Tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Westinghouse in the fifties in excellent working condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. The clock and alarm functions work. Cabinet is in very good condition with no major cracks, splits, or seams, abrasions, scratches or missing material. The front bezel is in excellent condition with no chips or dents or dings. This radio is over 50 years old! Original knobs are gold in color. The tuning and volume knobs work fine. The radio turns on and off easily on/off/alarm with a definite click with knob in front. The orginal color back board in crisp good condition. Replaced the paper filter capacitor to modern electrolytic as a security measure. The tubes are working fine. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets. When this radio was new, you could have listened to Eisenhower's inaugural address!
