DESCRIPTION: AM FM tabletop tube radio manufactured by Zenith in the 1963 time frame still in excellent working and physical condition. No cracks no chips no major scratches. All original factory molded colors. No repairs or repaints of any kind on this vintage radio. None needed. All knobs, dial pointer, etc. are present, working, not missing. Little gold foil metal caps are missing on the tuning and volume knobs. Picks up AM and FM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without antenna attachment. The volume, tone, AM/FM and automatic frequency control tuning all work. This radio is almost 60 years old! All the dial numbering and lettering is crisp and clear. AM and FM tuning dial works no slipping no sticky spots! No missing numbering, dots or dashes, or anything. No smudges or yellowing. No dial light not designed with one. But can be added for an extra charge. The clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. The snooze function works. The sleep timer works. All out of spec capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. Original power cord and plug are in excellent working condition with no cracks, or splits or electrical tape repair. No exposed wiring. Factory backing board is intact and securely attached. Bottom factory labels are in excellent condition. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
