Silver Streak Cosmo TV Sound Late 80s Model R-2407 Portable Solid State AM/FM Radio Sounds Great!
DESCRIPTION: Small portable solid state AM/FM radio manufactured by Cosmo in the 1980s time frame in excellent working condition.
SOUND QUALITY: This radio picks up AM and FM stations clearly and very loudly around the dial. Collapsible antenna attached for better reception.
CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory molded silver plastic. All original factory molded colors through and through. No repaints no touch-ups no over sprays. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. Handle is missing from top of the piece, there are minor scratches on the silver face. Lettering is clear and like new.
KNOBS: Factory original black volume and tuning dials are original,matching and securely attached.
LOGO: No missing logos.
DIAL LIGHT: No clock or tuning dial light. Not designed with one, but can be added for an extra charge.
CLOCK: no clock
INTERNAL ELECTRONICS: There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected.
POWER CORD: The original power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring.
BACKING BOARD: No backingboard. Portable radio not designed with one.
BATTERY: No batteries included. Works on standard household power and 4 double A batteries.
FACTORY LABELS AND STICKERS: Labels present, excellent condition.
PROVENANCE: Was gently used then stored in a dry cool environment for a long period of time. No evidence of prolonged exposure to moisture, smoking, cooking grease, pets or carpet.
