DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM vintage radio manufactured by Arvin in 1959-60 time frame in excellent+ working condition. Cabinet is original turquoise aquamarine color. All original factory molded colors. No repaints. No touch-ups. No overspray. There are hairline stress cracks on the back by the built in back handle! There is a hairline stress crack on the bottom by the back left. This antique radio is over 55 years old! No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The front fabric grill tweed fabric has been replaced with brand new factory matching material. Wow. The tuning dial works fine. Dial light works and lights brightly. This is a dual speaker antique radio so it not harsh on the ears at all. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The knobs are original and securely attached. The volume on off knob turns on with a definite click. Surprisingly, the knobs on this particular radio have not yellowed with moisture and oils from human touch. So, bonus! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. No fatigue by the interconnect. No exposed wiring. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets.
