Sea Foam Green 1957 Vintage RCA Victor 3RD-35 Vacuum Tube AM Clock Radio Works Great Looks Great!
DESCRIPTION: Tabletop tube AM Clock Radio manufactured by RCA Victor in the late fifties time frame in excellent working and physical condition. Trim and compact modern design. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial with an external antenna attachment provided. Cabinet is in excellent condition in factory molded sea foam green color plastic. Not repainted, no touch up, no over spray. Great color. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. This radio is over 60 years old! All the dial numbers are crisp and clear. No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. Original tuning knob is excellent condition slightly yellowed over time. The black clock background of the dial is in very good condition. Clock face is clear and lettering and numbers are in great shape. The bottom on the clock face is clear. The clear volume knob is original. Both gold metal insert are present, intact and shiny. Usually these go missing. The RCA logo is nice with shiny gold accent slightly rubbed off. The original power cable is in very good condition and securely attached no breaks at interconnect base. No exposed wiring. Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent no humming no buzzing no ticking noises. Clock time and alarm time set function works. Sleep timer works. Radio alarm function works. Buzzer alarm works. No dial light not designed with one but can be added. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
