DESCRIPTION: Here's a rare Arvin model with adjustable station preset buttons on top. Push buttons work! Tuning dial will swing right to left depending on what button is pushed and where it is set. How cool! Tabletop tube AM radio manufactured by Arvin in 1946-47 timeframe is in excellent working and physical condition. Bakelite in original factory molded brown color. The grill on this antique radio is completely original no broken slats. Knobs are original and securely attached on this vintage radio. Dial light works and lights brightly! This radio is over 60 years old! No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine. Tuning dial lens glass is clear no cracks no rub off and no flaking numbers or letters. The power cable is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection.
