DESCRIPTION: Few radios can still make my heart go a-flutter. This one does! Has bells and whistles on top of bells and whistles! Back in the day, this would have been the absolute top of the line among manufacturers. Practically pristine! Brings to mind LeBaron Imperial from Chrysler in 1959-60. Cars that were as long as a city block! You would have arrived as soon as you left! Tabletop tube AM clock radio alarm manufactured by Philco in 1957 excellent+ working and physical condition. Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Has dual speakers. Volume balance can be adjusted right or left. Way cool man. Cabinet is in pristine condition. No chips. No cracks. No major scratches. The lower left front corner leg was chipped off at one point then glued. Not visible from the front.  All original factory molded colors. No repaint. No over-spray. No touch up. This radio is over 60 years old!  The knobs are in excellent functional condition. No missing center metal caps! The clear dial face is clear and no stress cracks. Please see the photo close-up. The clock bezel is clear and transparent not yellowing. The clock works perfectly and keeps accurate time. The clock motor is silent. No humming, buzzing, or grinding noises.  No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on clock dial lettering. The tuning dial works fine and smooth no slipping. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The alarm works. The buzzer works. The clock and alarm set function work. The tubes are working fine. Dial light have been replaced and lights brightly. The original factory label on bottom is wrinkled but not ripped or flaking.  All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or pervasive static between stations unless you operate near modern megahertz devices. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets.  This thing belongs in a museum!
