DESCRIPTION: Olive green or avocado seemed to be the new turquoise by the sixties. If counter space was scarce in your mid-sixties olive or avocado decked out space, Westinghouse's answer was "The Space Maker" vertically oriented with smaller footprint, which saves you 4-8 square inches of table or counter space! Brilliant! Beautiful glossy Westinghouse vintage radio with great reception. All stations up and down the dial come in loud and clear. So retro! No cracks, chips or major scratches. There is a small fine crack on the top by the "snooze" button, but is hardly noticeable. The snooze button is not out-of-whack or crooked. It is designed that way. Please review photographs carefully before purchase. Tabletop tube AM antique radio manufactured by Westinghouse in 1965-1966 in excellent working and physical condition. Cabinet is original olive green color. Knobs are original and securely attached. This radio is over 50 years old! No missing ink, smudges, or rub-off on dial lettering. The tuning dial is in great condition and securely attached. The tuning dial is solid no slipping. The power cable is securely attached. All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or more of playing time! The tubes are working fine. All out-of-spec resistors have been replaced with modern correct value and voltage equivalents. There is no loud or pervasive hum. There is no loud or continuous static between stations. The set has been aligned according to factory specifications. Clock works and keeps accurate time. Clock motor is silent. Clock set function works. Alarm and alarm set function works. Snooze function works. No dial light. The power cord and plug are good original working condition with no cracks, or splits. No exposed wiring. The radio has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. All wiring has been thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment no pets.
