DESCRIPTION: A wonderful vintage radio from the early war years. Very rare model. This antique was made from an early plastic compound known as Catalin. No cracks, no chips, no major scratches. Original factory molded colors. No repaints no over spray no touch up. None needed. Not a reproduction. This is an authentic original vintage radio from 1941. Excellent modernist design! This radio is 70 years old! All the dial numbering and lettering is crisp and clear. Clear dial plastic is original with very little hazing or yellowing, hairline crack in the center. No missing numbering, dots or dashes, or anything. No smudges or yellowing. The paper label is missing off the bottom. The backing board is also missing.
No electronic repairs have been performed. All original paper and wax capacitors have been left in original state. The power cord and plug are original working condition with cracks and has electrical tape. The power cord cloth covering is in poor to fair condition. The radio has been not been cleaned and inspected. Comes from non-smoking, mature, clean professional environment.
